Abstract Information: This presentation will provide an overview of how an evaluator partnered with a client to set up data collection in order to complete the evaluation within the budget that is allowed by the grant funder. The DoDEA grants have a cap of $5,000 for an external evaluator, which could translate to around 20 hours for experienced evaluators. While reluctant to take on the evaluation due to its low budget, having the evaluation be collaborative and data collection be the responsibility of the client, made this and other projects feasible. The presentation will include details of what is accomplished in evaluator-client meetings to ensure successful data collection, and a preview of the final annual evaluation report, which was presented as a model by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).
