Resumo Informações: Since 2008, Instituto Votorantim has been implementing the Partnership for the Enhancement of Education (PVE) program, whose main objective is to contribute to the improvement of the quality and equity of Brazilian public education by developing management skills for educational leaders and mobilizing skills within school communities. By periodically conducting impact evaluations of a program that has been implemented in Brazil for 15 years, we have been able to demonstrate how working on management skills for educational leaders and involving families leads to improvements in student learning indicators, especially promoting equity and reducing gaps between schools with varying levels of vulnerability. We will present the lessons learned and the challenges encountered throughout the year, the improvements that the evaluations have brought to the program, and recommendations for applying this recurrence to other programs or public policies.
