Hannah Betesh is a Senior Associate at Abt Global with nearly two decades of experience designing, managing, and conducting mixed-methods evaluations for federal agencies. Her methodological expertise is in measuring and documenting program implementation to support both interpretation of impact study findings, and adoption of evidence-based practices. Topically, her work focuses on employment and training interventions for populations with barriers to employment, including opportunity youth, people with prior involvement in the criminal-legal system, and people in recovery from substance use disorders. She is also an adjunct instructor on evaluation methods at American University’s School of Public Affairs, and co-chairs the Employment and Training committee for the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management. She has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Smith College, and a Master of Public Policy from the University of California at Berkeley.
