Shannon Sampson, PhD is Executive Director of the College of Education Evaluation Center and Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation at the University of Kentucky. She leads evaluation studies for projects across many disciplines and funding agencies. She teaches graduate courses in program evaluation, educational measurement, and survey research methods. Prior to her role as faculty, she was a secondary foreign language educator and later a district-wide resource specialist for Foreign Language and English Language teachers. Combining her expertise in measurement and language acquisition, she now strives to make evaluation findings clear, accessible, and actionable, so stakeholders can make well informed decisions.
