Rebecca Swann-Jackson, Ph.D., Ed.M. is an Associate Research Manager at the Institute for Families at the Rutgers University School of Social Work. Dr. Swann-Jackson has 21 years of experience as an applied researcher and evaluator of human services programs and educational initiatives serving children and families. Dr. Swann-Jackson has led multi-site and multi-year projects focused on large-scale data collection on risk and protective factors for youth, child welfare, active living and healthy eating, equity and anti-racism, families with multi-system involvement (chronic homelessness, child welfare, mental health and/or substance use disorders), adolescence, parenting, Black families, and LGBTQ+ concerns and advocacy. Dr. Swann-Jackson earned a PhD in Family Science and Human Development from Montclair State University and a Masters in Education, with a concentration in Statistics, Measurement, and Evaluation, from Rutgers University.
