Brittany Marshall, DrPH, CPH, CHES is a Behavioral Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Research and Leadership at The George Washington University. Broadly, her practice interests include HIV prevention, program evaluation, and implementation science. With over 10 years of research and evaluation experience, Dr. Marshall has led projects in a variety of public health program areas including obesity prevention, workforce development, transportation safety, and climate and health. Her current work focuses on evaluating partnerships that amplify the reach and engagement of the CDC's Let’s Stop HIV Together Campaign.
Outside of work, Dr. Marshall has held leadership positions on the national level and within the local community. Recently, she completed a four-year term on the American Public Health Association (APHA) Executive Board. Presently ,she serves as the Programs Chair for the National Urban League Young Professionals and is the Immediate Past President of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals. Dr. Marshall is on the Board of Directors for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta and BLKHLTH. She has received several awards, including the 2023 Atlanta Business Chronicle 40 Under 40 and the 2023 Young Professional of the Year for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta.
Dr. Marshall holds a Bachelors of Science in Health Education from the University of Florida, a Masters of Public Health from the University of South Florida, and a Doctorate of Public Health from the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
