As an Evaluator at Apex, Chelsea Henkel, MPP, leverages her extensive experience in education and evaluation to support clients in understanding their programs, communities, and results. Chelsea’s expertise includes managing projects from conception to completion, creating effective data collection instruments, facilitating diverse interviews and focus groups, and analyzing data for deep insights. She prioritizes making evaluation a useful, equitable, and minimally burdensome part of any initiative, always striving to be a trusted and reliable partner in her clients' critical work.
Chelsea earned a master’s degree in education policy from Peabody College of Education and Human Development at Vanderbilt University and is a current member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and American Educational Research Association (AERA). She also supports policy development for the Urban Leaders Fellowship in Oklahoma and volunteers as a board member of a statewide adult literacy organization in her home state of Colorado.
