Iwamoto is a Senior Quantitative Research Lead for the National Institute of Work and Learning (NIWL) at FHI360. Her area of expertise is quantitative research methodologies, including Randomized Control Trial (RCT), quasi-experimental methods, research design, sampling, assessment tool development, data collection and analysis, and data visualization. Since she joined NIWL’s research team in May 2021, she worked on data analysis of several education projects for federal, corporate, and non-profit clients. Her work includes survey tool development, report writing, development of result presentation slides, and data visualization. Ms. Iwamoto brings over 10 years of experience working in development projects in project management, evaluation and research capacities. She worked on numerous research and evaluation projects in the education context and provided capacity development training. Her coding experience includes Stata and R, Tableau, and the Kobo ToolBox survey tool.
