Karena Salmond is the Senior Director of Impact at Caldera, an Oregon-based nonprofit whose mission is to inpsire and support youth by awakening the potential of their creative voice. Karena has more than 15 years of arts education experience and a background in visual and performing arts. Prior to joining Caldera, she served as Program Director with San Francisco-based Performing Arts Workshop following the completion of her Masters in International & Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco. Karena believes in the power of art to impact social change and has dedicated her career to that work.
