Senior Learning Advisor

Daniel Sabet is a Senior Learning Advisor with the Learning and Evidence Team at USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Human Rights and Governance (DRG). He has over 20 years of experience researching, evaluating, and supporting DRG interventions globally. He has served as a Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center, Social Impact’s Chief of Party for the DRG Center’s Learning, Evaluation, and Research (LER I) contract, Founding Director for the Center for Enterprise and Society at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, and visiting professor at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Daniel has particular expertise on issues of public sector reform, anti-corruption, and civil society oversight. He is the author of several books and articles, including Police Reform in Mexico, Nonprofits and their Networks, and Understanding Political Science Research Methods. Daniel has a PhD in Political Science from Indiana University and is a former Fulbright Fellow.
