Nikhita T. Miskin, M.P.H., is a Senior Research and Program Manager in the Center for Community Partnerships and Policy Solutions (CPPS) at The New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM). At CPPS, Ms. Miskin currently leads research plan development for NYC safety-net hospitals evaluating the impact of race-neutral clinical algorithms, leads multistate evaluations of healthy aging programming, drives growth strategy planning for the team, and facilitates federal grants application submission. With training and experience in qualitative and quantitative research, policy analysis, and program implementation and evaluation, Ms. Miskin is committed to strengthening social systems and improving health care for people made vulnerable by inadequate policies. Ms. Miskin has worked on a range of policy issues related to Affordable Care Act implementation through a dual focus on the social determinants of health and health insurance access. Before joining NYAM, she worked as Senior Policy and Research Analyst at the Massachusetts Health Connector, the Commonwealth’s Health Insurance Marketplace. She also worked on the Health Insurance Project at the United Hospital Fund of New York. Ms. Miskin holds an M.P.H. from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice at Dartmouth College.
