Dr. Ruiz de Castilla is an economist with more than 20 years of experience carrying out statistical and econometric analysis, and over 15 years of experience in education research and evaluation, designing and implementing experimental, quasi-experimental, and non-experimental studies. She has worked extensively with district and school staff to collect and manage data in the field. Ruiz de Castilla is trained in the improvement science research framework, cost-effectiveness and benefit-cost methods, cluster randomized and single-case intervention research designs, and is a What Works Clearinghouse certified reviewer (group design standards, Version 5.0).
