Ajilé Owens, MPH, is a dynamic public health professional and data scientist with over six years of experience in data-driven analysis and storytelling across higher education, the federal government, and the private sector. As Lead Data & Analytics Advisor at Frontier Design, she blends social epidemiology, data analytics, and organizational health expertise to tackle complex challenges.
In her current role, Ajilé leads a transformative project for a major Health and Human Services agency, where she collects and analyzes primary data to enhance organizational culture. She has designed evaluation metrics, streamlined organizational processes, and crafted detailed personas, delivering data-driven insights that elevate program effectiveness for both humanitarian organizations and Fortune 500 companies. Ajilé’s ability to translate complex data into actionable insights while preserving the community’s voice is one of her greatest strengths.
Ajilé has also worked in diverse global settings, including India, Madagascar, Nigeria, Kenya, and the United States, using data to address critical issues like food and financial insecurity, infectious disease transmission, and water, sanitation, and health.
When she’s not at work, Ajilé can be found reading an epic fantasy, going for a short hike with three days worth of snacks, or planning her (rapidly approaching) wedding.
