Carly Mphasa, MPP, is a Research Director at Social Impact and brings over ten years of experience designing and implementing experimental and quasi-experimental impact evaluations, performance evaluations, and special studies, in sub-Saharan Africa, South and Southeast Asia. Ms. Mphasa has a strong economic and statistical background with experience leading large evaluation contracts, developing data collection instruments and sampling approaches, implementing robust quality assurance protocols, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and effectively communicating results through reports, presentations, and visualizations. Her experience includes the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s (MCC) Indonesia Green Prosperity Portfolio with evaluations in land use, off grid renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture, MCC’s Sierra Leone Threshold Program evaluation in the energy, water, and regulatory sectors, MCC’s Benin II Off-Grid Energy Access Project Evaluation, MCC’s Willingness to Pay Study, and USAID and World Bank development projects.
