Emily Cheng, Evaluation Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with a Master of Public Health degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, is affiliated with the Violence Prevention Practice and Translation Branch in the Division of Violence Prevention at CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control. In her current role, she conducts evaluations across multiple violence prevention programs, performs qualitative analysis, develops data dashboards and other visualizations to effectively communicate and disseminate recipient prevention efforts on various forms of violence. Emily has also worked as an evaluator focused on improving early identification of children's developmental delays and disabilities, and has global health experience working at Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare. Her dedication lies in enhancing program implementation through effective evaluation and communication strategies to improves the health of women and young children.
