Jamelle E. Banks, MPH is a Health Research Evaluator in the Office of Evaluation, Performance, and Reporting (OEPR) in the Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives (DPCPSI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) located in Bethesda, MD. She has worked in the federal government for over 15 years conducting program evaluations to assess the impact of programs’ scientific and public health investments. She has implemented quantitative and qualitative evaluation studies and worked closely with stakeholders to ensure the study findings were useful for future program planning, improvements, and informed decision making. In her current role, she works to build capacity for evaluation at NIH, provides technical assistance on evaluation projects, and supports outreach, collaboration, and coordination of evaluation activities. Jamelle received a Master of Public Health from the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services.
