Rajiv Ramdat, MS is a certified academic and executive leadership life coach, program evaluator, home cook, and nature lover who serves as the Graduate Program Coordinator for the Boonshoft School of Medicine's Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. He earned a mixed-methods certification in program evaluation while pursuing an interdisciplinary MS in pharmacology and toxicology that also encompassed training in grant writing, data analysis, and leadership development. His positionality as a gay, first generation STEM student has gifted perspective that allows for insight and a deeper connection. Part of his current role uses evaluation methodology to enhance student experience, strengthen faculty understanding of learning / teaching, and provide support at all levels of the department and university. Driven by curiosity, connection, collaboration, and community; Rajiv enjoys helping others while expanding both the impact and reach of their work. This includes helping the city of Dayton (Ohio), by way of the leading non-profits OMEGA CDC and Learn to Earn Dayton, acquire a Promise Neighborhoods grant of over $28.8 million. In his spare time, he loves recipe testing, exploring nature, and watching the Real Housewives.
