Amanda West has a master degree in development practice (MDP) from Emory University with concentrations in Gender and Program Management and currently works as an Evaluation Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Before joining the CDC, Amanda has over ten years of professional experience working with impact focused organizations the US and Zambia including Habitat for Humaity International, CARE International, Mennonite Central Committee, Global Growers, and Baylor University. She has enjoyed working with organizations to increase their evaluation capacity and is passionate about pursuing health equity and using participatory processes to elevate the voices of all people impacted by a project.
