Jaslean LaTaillade earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Washington and works at JBS International as a Technical Expert Lead. She is a highly skilled project director, researcher and program evaluator of programs and services targeting high-risk, minority populations and other vulnerable populations. Jaslean has over 20 years of clinical and research experience with leading evaluations and capacity-building implementation activities for diverse health organizations and communities. She currently leads a statewide initiative to enhance workforce and agency competency in evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her experience in clinical behavioral health includes family violence prevention and treatment, ethnic diversity within couple and family relationships, co-parenting and father involvement, and behavioral health disparities. In addition, she works with federal and state offices and programs to conduct process and outcome evaluations and provide workforce development training and technical assistance. Outside of work, you’ll find her visiting museums, attending theatrical and musical events, and enjoying a great bagel!
