Stephanie Rayburn, PhD, LMFT is an evaluation researcher at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science as well as a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice in Colorado. Stephanie earned her doctorate in Applied Developmental Science from Colorado State University in 2023 with a focus on program implementation and evaluation and is a new professional in the field. Stephanie takes a relational systems approach to evaluation, emphasizing the importance of understanding how relationships and larger social contexts influence individuals' experiences and perceptions. In the world of museum evaluation, Stephanie works with a larger evaluation team that fosters community engagement to understand community needs, visitor experience, impact of museum programs and initatives, and guide decision-making within the institution. Outside of work, Stephanie spends time with her family, reads a wide variety of fiction, and enjoys Colorado's beautiful outdoor spaces.
