Kristen Schubert is a Development Economist with over 17 years of experience in economic evaluation. Ms. Schubert specializes in cost-benefit analysis (CBA) and cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) and has conducted these analyses for U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and NGOs in energy, water, health, transport, resilience, gender, and agriculture sectors. She is considered a leader in the industry in CBA and CEA, teaching courses on the topic for government officials, private sector actors, and graduate students and crafting methodological guidance for both USAID and MCC. She is the Sr. Director of Economics at Causal Design, a research and evaluation firm, and an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service (SFS).
