Elizabeth McGee is a community psychologist and an expert in applied research and evaluation, boasting 17 years of experience. She has evaluated over 45 international, national, and municipally-run grants across various sectors such as environmental sustainability, education, health, mental health, workforce development, and social justice. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has contributed to projects funded by notable organizations, including the CDC, HRSA, NSF, USTDA, SAMHSA, Gilead Science, ViiV Healthcare, and the NIH.
Her leadership has been pivotal in collaborative projects at research institutes and universities like Global Impact Investing Network, FHI 360, HIV Trials Prevention Network, Cal Tech, Yale, the University of Texas, Columbia University, Howard University, and the University of Maryland, among many others.
Elizabeth's extensive experience includes community-based participatory methodologies grounded in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ). She has supported domestic organizations in building evaluation, learning, and quality improvement infrastructure to maximize their impact. Additionally, she has a wealth of experience working in international contexts, having contributed to projects in Romania, Zambia, Turkey, Liberia, East Timor, Vietnam, Algeria, and Kenya.
A Canadian by birth, Elizabeth now resides in Connecticut with her partner, two cats, and one dog. In her leisure time, she enjoys old films, photography, and music.
