Program Training Coordinator
Mennonite Central Committee, Canada
Olivia Mutabazi is a young and emerging evaluator, currently working as the Program Training Coordinator for the Mennonite Central Committee. She is driven by a desire to help local organizations measure their impact and outcomes in ways that are meaningful to them as well as helping them cross the “chasm” between their current ways of measuring impact and those required by gatekeepers (financial, governmental, regulatory, etc.). She believe that there are ways to redistribute power within M&E systems to create bottom up systems, without losing the ability to increase accountability, transparency, and enhanced decision making capabilities. Olivia holds a Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Technology and Management University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies from Trinity Western University. Her current work emphasizes community-led indicator development in Rwanda, leveraging participatory approaches and data-driven strategies to empower local communities.
