Mia Robillos is a Research Scientist at the Minnesota Department of Health’s Health Equity Performance and Research Section within the Health Equity Bureau. Her responsibilities include evaluation and reporting for grant programs, providing evaluation technical assistance to grantees and local public health departments, supporting the bureau’s evaluation needs, and assisting with program design and grant applications. Before MDH, Mia was a Research Associate at Rainbow Research Inc. in Minneapolis. Mia has over 25 years of experience in research and evaluation in areas of health, education, social services, and organizational capacity building for a range of entities including community-based nonprofits, government, foundations, and schools. She holds a master’s degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics and has completed coursework and preliminary exams in the Applied Economics doctoral program at the University of Minnesota.
