Resource and Service Evaluator

Aaron C. Burnell (MSW, CIRS-A/D; he/him, they/them) is the Resource and Service Evaluator at the Amputee Coalition, the only national non-profit who specifically serves the limb loss and limb difference community. He is a social worker by trade and by passion. He has experience working with multiple populations including individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of intimate partner violence, and the LGBTQ+ community specifically transgender youth and students. All of his work focuses on preventing abuse and exploitation of vulnerable populations while empowering individuals and their communities to realize their goals through self-advocacy and self-determination. He is passionate about data as narrative and elevating non-profit programming and management beyond reporting and to organization defined excellence. He has developed clinical training modules, presented his research findings at conferences and in print, taught academically, and is a certified Information and Resource Referral specialist. He lives in Western Pennsylvania with his partner and gaggle of cats. Outside of his work with the Amputee Coalition, Aaron is an avid gamer, lover of horror, and collector of mid-century knick-knacks.
