Senior Learning Advisor

Heather Risley is a Senior Learning Advisor working on Collaborating, Learning and Adapting in USAID's Office of Learning, Evaluation, and Research in the Bureau for Planning, Learning and Resource Management (PLR/LER). In this role, she helps advance the integration of organizational learning and adaptive management into USAID’s programs in countries throughout the developing world. Collectively, Ms. Risley has nearly 15 years of experience working with USAID, NGOs and the private sector to strengthen knowledge systems, including the development and implementation of learning agendas, processes for generating knowledge, management of digital knowledge sharing platforms, and stakeholder engagement. She holds a Masters degree in Global Communications from The George Washington University, with specializations in international development and research methods.
