Ms.Tseveengerel Amgalan is a social and financial policy researcher and evaluator who worked on national-level development and policy studies at the Authority of Government Supervisory (AGS), the Secretariat of the Parliament of Mongolia, and the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia. The AGS was established on January 1, 2023, and her team was responsible for monitoring and evaluating long-term, medium-term, and short-term development policies. She led a team to support line ministries and provinces and build national M&E systems until October 2023. Her recent education at Brandeis University helped her to learn how to practice sustainable development and hone her skills in analyzing, implementing, and evaluating development-related national policies.
Ms.Tseveengerel joined the Mongolian Evaluation Association(MEA) at the beginning of 2023, and under her supervision, MEA collaborated with the government and participated in the National M&E forum. Ms.Tseveengerel joined as a member of the NEPS Theme of APRES at the Asian Pacific Evaluation Association. She is working as a team member to increase legislators' involvement in advocating for and utilizing evaluation in policy formation and developing policymakers' evaluative proficiency. She is also collaborating with the team to facilitate the enhancement of NEPS and promote NEPS awareness through regional dialogues, technical seminars, and the dissemination of materials.
