As an Evaluation and Research Associate with a Ph.D. in Psychology of Education from the University of the Free State, South Africa, I leverage nearly a decade of experience in higher education to contribute to positive change in education at the Evaluation Learning and Research Centre (ELRC) at Purdue University. Dr. Seyi-Oderinde collaborates with colleagues to develop and implement research and evaluation initiatives in education, STEM, and other critical areas. These initiatives are supported by funding from prestigious agencies like HRSA, USAID, the Department of Education, and USDA.
Prior to joining the ELRC, Dr. Seyi-Oderinde excelled as a faculty member, successfully leading and collaborating with other faculty on research projects. This collaborative work resulted in publications across empirical, theoretical, and mixed-methodological approaches in peer-reviewed journals. Her research expertise encompasses a broad spectrum, including the psychosocial dimensions of teaching and learning, participatory research approaches, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion for student success.
