Meghan E. Ecker-Lyster, Ph.D.
Dr. Ecker-Lyster is the Director of Research, Evaluation & Dissemination at the University of Kansas’ Center for Educational Opportunity Programs (CEOP). She currently oversees and manages evaluations for 17 federally funded college access and educational opportunity programs, including GEAR UP and TRIO programs. She has more than 10 years’ experience working with K-12 public schools. Dr. Ecker-Lyster specializes in participatory community action research and utilization-focused evaluations. Most of her work employs mixed methodology, and as a result she is well versed in both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods and analytic techniques. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Family Studies from Chadron State College, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Minnesota State University, and an Ed.S. and Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Kansas.
