Mayuri is a young development professional with more than 14 years of work experience in program implementation, evaluation and monitoring of Government schemes, Violence against women, right to food and shelter, health and livelihood. Her involvement has been in several project
management functions (Project Formulation, Capacity building of core team, heading project implementations and research etc.) on multiple projects being implemented by the organization for overall coordination with the core members for monthly meeting and related activities, which includes planning, coordination and documentation at state level. She has worked in USAID, Action-Aid, OXFAM India, International Growth Centre, London, Ford Foundation funded projects. She was working closely with Advisor to the Commissioner of Supreme Court, Bihar and Jharkhand chapter.
Mayuri has been working on the themes of resource justice advocate, grant making, gender, sexuality, governance, rights, feminist leadership, movement building, advocacy and networking, Feminist approach to Monitoring and learning, capacity building and training of community-based organisations and sexual and reproductive health and rights for 14 years in the development sector.
Her work experience in Grant making, feminist intersectional work- Gender, sexuality, disability, feminist leadership, Movement building, Gender based violence etc. She provides an intersectional lens to accelerate social change through engaging with partners at multiple levels, beyond financial involvement. This means she is intentional about reaching women, girls, trans, and gender non-binary activists where they live, responding to their multi-layered needs, and being responsive to the complex contexts that they navigate.
