With nearly 10 years of experience, Samantha 'Sam' Scott integrates culturally mindful evaluation into every facet of her work, ensuring that organizational strategies align with equitable outcomes. Her expertise is demonstrated through her recent roles as Program Evaluation Manager for health equity initiatives and her previous position as Evaluation & Research Director for a state agency’s Cancer Prevention and Control Division. In these roles, she led evaluations for federal cooperative agreement grants and developed objectives for chronic disease programs. Sam's career began at large academic hospitals, where she managed grants, clinical trials, and research compliance. Her work with the sickle cell population in rural Georgia fueled her passion for improving health outcomes for underserved populations, reinforcing her commitment to advocacy and support for overlooked and under-resourced communities. Sam holds a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in Health Management from Augusta University.
