Rachel Lynn Berkowitz, DrPH, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at San Jose State University. She is a member of the '23-'24 American Evaluation Association Minority-Serving Institution (MSI) Fellowship Cohort. Her research focuses on understanding and addressing the ways in which structures, systems, and places create and perpetuate health inequities. Current projects include supporting the development of a participatory evaluation strategy for a 10-year philanthropic economic mobility initiative and developing an evaluation for social drivers of health screening in acute care settings for a large healthcare system.
