Abstract Information: Evaluations in pediatric settings often struggle to incorporate patient and caregiver perspectives, creating gaps in our understanding of the effectiveness or impact of quality improvement or research projects in pediatric settings. As a result, some of the most critical voices are often underrepresented, which limits the ability of these projects to center young patients and their caregivers. How can evaluators better amplify these voices in our work? What strategies can we use to create spaces for caregivers and patients to share their opinions about their pediatric experiences? This poster will include a review of existing literature about data collection strategies in pediatric settings. highlighting different methods described and facilitators and barriers to those methods. This poster will also explore additional ideas, and visitors to this poster can expect to engage in discussion about their own experiences in this data collection. The aim of this poster is for viewers to come away with tangible ideas to implement new methods for collecting patient and caregiver perspectives in evaluations of pediatric work.
