Geanna Capitan (MPH) is a Laguna and Dine adzáán (woman) based in Tucson, AZ. She works at Native Pathways to serve the research, evaluative and facilitation needs of people working within Indigneous communities, Tribal and/or non-profit organizations, and Higher-Ed and Government institutions in a holistic, collaborative manner. She has been working in the area of research and evaluation for over 10 years. She has received her BS in Biology from the University of New Mexico and her Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She is passionate about Indigneous knowledge systems, health research, and challenging the ways we examine data.
