Dr. Rebecca Friesen, is a Research Scientist for the Center for Educational Assessment, Research, and Evaluation (CEARE) in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Friesen received her PhD degree in Educational Psychology from UA and was awarded outstanding graduate student as well as speaker of the convocation for the College of Education. Dr. Friesen also holds an EdM from Boston University. Among other research projects, she is interested in examining precursors to students’ longitudinal academic achievement and equity and motivation in STEM.
