Dr. Kaitlin Fertaly (she/her) is the Director of Evaluations/Research Scientist at the Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities at the University of Montana. She has a MA in Anthropology and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a PhD in Geography. She is a qualitative researcher and evaluator whose work focuses on understanding community needs, assessing health systems processes, and conducting utilization focused evaluation to address health-equity and access to services, particularly for women, families, and communities that have been historically underserved.
