Hui-Ling Wendy Pan is a distinguished professor in the Department of Education and Futures Design at Tamkang University (TKU) and has previously served as Dean of the College of Education at TKU. With a teaching career exceeding twenty-five years at the National Taiwan Normal University, she was recruited to TKU in 2011. She is a dedicated researcher in educational leadership, educational change, educational evaluation, and school improvement with a recent focus on facilitating learning communities and innovation systems in schools. Her extensive experiences in serving ad hoc committees for Taiwan's Ministry of Education made her nominated the convenor for Strategic Alliance of High School Curriculum Implementation, a partnership which aims to build networks and bridge collaboration among central government, local government sectors and schools in the process of implementing the 12-year New Curriculum. She also serves as the chair of MOE's cross-system collaboration committee, which is dedicated to enhancing the quality of 12-year Basic Education through collaborative governance. Her commitment to academia is further demonstrated by her active participation on the editorial boards of esteemed education journals and her role on the boards of directors for over fifteen academic associations in Taiwan.
