political scientist, and peacebuilder with over 13 years of experience in knowledge management, research, strategic planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) applied to human rights, governance, peace-building, poverty alleviation, gender, and other development fields.
With over 10 years of experience coordinating MEL and research teams within Colombia's NGOs and the public sector, I excel in facilitating and developing methodologies for strategic planning processes. I have collaborated with international agencies, UN System agencies, and NGOs, employing robust procedures to build and monitor indicators, outcomes, and impacts. My expertise extends to qualitative and quantitative research methods, using various tools to enhance data analysis. Additionally, I am highly skilled in applying learning methodologies to boost knowledge management models.
I hold two master's degrees in International Studies (MA) and International Development (MSc) from the University of Barcelona (ES) and Bristol University (UK), respectively. Recognized for academic excellence, I received the Chevening Scholarship 2012 and the Colfuturo Scholarship Award 2011. In 2015, I was awarded a scholarship by the Korean Cooperation Agency for my work in local economic empowerment. Recently, I was honoured with the Pillar of Peace Award in 2023, acknowledging my commitment to supporting youth-led peacebuilding initiatives in Colombia.
