Safal Khatri is the Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Lead for Winrockâs AGILE (Analytics, Gender, Inclusion, Learning, and Evaluation) team. Safal brings more than 15 years of experience in research and evaluation project management, and technical expertise in study design (quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods), instrument development, data collection and management, systems development, sampling and statistical analysis, and reporting and data visualization. He has experience in large domestic and global programs that have included all major regions (Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin and North America, and the Middle East). His primary focus of evaluation has been in educational programs, but has experience in other development and social programs including health, public diplomacy, urban development, agriculture, climate change, trafficking in persons, welfare programs, finance, etc. He has led or supported many successful business development efforts for wide ranging clients including USG, non-profits, and corporate foundations.
