Mónica Yañez, MPP, is a Research Associate at HACER, where she began her role in January 2023. She holds a Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology of Law, Criminology, & Deviance and Chicano & Latino Studies from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Dedicated to serving the Latine community through research, evaluation, and policy advocacy, Mónica also enjoys spending time with her daughter, hiking, and exploring new foods.
