Doris Espelien, MA, Doctoral Candidate at the University of Minnesota, currently works as a Researcher with RAND Corporation. She likes to play in all the sandboxes, but is especially passionate about disability-focused DEIA, employee advocacy, management science and organizational development, and the evaluation of military/veteran and government programs and policies. Doris is currently working on her Doctoral Dissertation about the professional identities of American evaluators with the intent of defending in Fall 2024. She is a US Navy veteran with a background in Arabic translation and specializes in leveraging those translation skills to make high-level, complex information accessible and engaging for broader audiences. She looks forward to continuing to invest in the development of emerging scholars and professionals, paying forward what was invested in her and expanding the web of relationships that lifts everyone up.
