Katherine Nolan is a Research Scientist in AidData's Research and Evaluation Unit, where she conducts impact evaluations on a number of development topics, including health, women’s empowerment, agriculture and governance. Katherine’s current work focuses on retrospective evaluations in Bangladesh and Ghana that utilize geospatial matching techniques and household surveys. She also co-created AidData's new gender initiative, which focuses on bringing AidData's geospatial and research expertise to the gender space. Her expertise lies in randomized evaluations, household surveys, data management and analysis, retrospective evaluations, and geospatial analysis.
