Dr. Julie Poncelet (she/her) of JPC| @ the Corner of Learning & Action has 20 years of experience in research, evaluation, and strategic planning work Globally. Her work focuses on children/youth and education, issues affecting women/girls, and community-based development. She helps non-profits and professionals design impactful strategies and learn from their social justice work to take meaningful action. Inspired by those who support historically underrepresented and underestimated communities, Dr. Poncelet specializes in complex projects and focuses on children, youth, women, and families. As a learning partner, she designs collaborative approaches that fit the organization and community's context, needs, and values. Additionally, Dr. Poncelet taught program evaluation at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) for nearly a decade and advised dozens of student-led international development and policy-oriented capstone workshops in almost 20 countries. Since 2015, she has been a co-chair in the American Evaluation Association's (AEA) Youth Focused Evaluation Topical Interest Group (TIG).
