Chhavi Kotwani (she/her) is an Evaluation Officer at Wellspring Philanthropic Fund where she supports program staff across multiple programmatic with their evaluation needs. Her previous experience includes nonprofits and multilateral organization such as Search for Common Ground and UNICEF where her focus was on strengthening monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems and processes. She also worked with Teach for India where she managed external partnerships and strategic projects. Chhavi holds a master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
Kevin Hong (he/him) is currently the Director of Evaluation at Wellspring Philanthropic Fund and Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University. His experience spans academia (University of California, San Francisco) to nonprofit/NGO (Africare, Trickle Up, Mercy Corps, Innovations for Poverty Action) to consultancy (ideas42) to government (US Department of Labor), with the focus on monitoring and evaluation, including impact evaluations. Through his career, he collaborated with a broad range of NGOs, social enterprises, and bilateral organizations such as Aravind Eye Hospitals, Carter Center, Skoll Foundation, and USAID, conducted evaluations for Brookings and OSF. He also teaches monitoring and evaluation at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. He holds a Master in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor in Computational and Systems Biology from Cornell University.
