Dr. Jason Jingshun Zhang is a Full Professor in assessment, evaluation and research at Florida Gulf Coast University. Dr. Zhang obtained his PhD at OISE/ University of Toronto. He has 36 years professional experience at the universities and high school levels in USA (FGCU and UCF), Canada (University of Toronto), and China (Tsinghua University). He has taught courses in assessment, evaluation, statistics, and research method for undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. Along with broad research collaboration, His research focuses on classroom assessment, missing response patterns, cognitive diagnostic assessment, online survey design, research methodology, applied statistics, and graduate engineering education and others. Currently, he is the president of the SIG-Research on Evaluation in the American Educational Research Association (AERA, 2024-2025), the President, the Chinese American Educational Research and Development Association (CAERDA, 2024-2026), and the president of the Sino-American Educational Research Association (S-AERA, 2018-).
