Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology with an emphasis on the Spanish language from Fort Lewis College and a master’s degree in Applied Social Psychology and Program Evaluation from Claremont Graduate University. An experienced consultant with an extensive background in evaluation and technical project management, she has worked with diverse partners across corporate, government, and non-profit sectors to reduce health disparities and improve patient outcomes.
As a proud Chicana with Apache roots, she uses her lived experience and academic achievements to inform projects in various domains, including nursing workforce development, breast cancer research, and housing equity.
In her spare time, Crystal works along side the Los Angeles County Native American Indian Commission to improve data collection and culturally supportive services for Native Americans and Alaska Natives experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. When she isnt lending her expertise to local social justice organizations, she enjoys traveling, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Rick.
