Epidemiologist

Tara Atyam, MPH, works as an Epidemiologist at Public Health – Seattle & King County and currently serves as an evaluator for multiple strategies under the Best Starts for Kids Initiative. She has 10 years of experience working as an Epidemiologist and Research Scientist in a government setting. She started her public health journey at UC Berkeley where she got a bachelor’s degree in public health and then worked at Planned Parenthood as a Health Services Specialist. She continued her education by getting her master’s degree in public health at the University of Southern California, with an emphasis on Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Her passion lies in program evaluation, data collection, and analyzing program measures and outcomes to better serve the community equitably.
