Felicia J. Gutierrez M.A, M.S. is a doctoral candidate studying community psychology at the University of Illinois Chicago. After completing her masters in Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) and becoming a clinician, Felicia knew her next academic goals would center around applying her clinical background in the context of research. With 6+ years of clinical and community intervention research experience, Felicia is determined to utilize the skills gained from her program to uplift the communities around her. Felicia’s research interests focus on the intersectional connections between youth mental health, community strengths and support, and racial socialization, and anti-racism action.
