Dr. Valeria Rocha, has 24 years of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) experience in formal and non-formal education programs, gender, socio-emotional development, and health projects in a number of countries, including Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Brazil, Bolivia, and China, where she was responsible for a variety of activities, from planning the quantitative and qualitative research evaluation designs of projects to establishing M&E systems for local NGO programs and providing M&E training to Ministries/Departments of Education and NGO staff in those countries. Currently, she acts as the MERL Manager for the Youth Opportunity Program at the International Youth Foundation.
In addition to her experience, Dr. Rocha is a certified coach, holds a doctoral degree in Education, Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, a master’s degree in education, Human Development and Psychology from the same institution, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Harvard University.
