Ryan Mortenson, MBA, Researcher at Southcentral Foundation, was born in Lakewood, Washington, in 1988. Several years later, his family moved to Bethel, Alaska, where his father was an electrician, and his mother was a journalist. He graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with an AA degree focused on small business administration. He has a BBA with a double major in Management and Marketing from the University of Alaska Anchorage and an MBA in Management from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Ryan has supported basic science research in hypertension, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and palliative care. Ryan is a Trident DBA student focusing on healthcare strategy. Ryan enjoys an active lifestyle, exploring new cities, and is a stocks, investment, and car enthusiast.
